![]() Maybe that was a decent amount when the park opened in the 50s but it is 2019 - time to update. They also need to increase the amount of booths that take money in the parking lot. I feel iike some common sense updating could help this park be better. Mom and I rode the sky lift and then were not sure how we were going to make it back to others who were in line for another coaster. in 124 reviews The rides are the best my favorites are apollo's chariot and griffin but there are no bad rides. It seems that the map and the signs did not match up at all. Review Highlights Our favorite rides were the Griffon, Apollo's chariot and Invadr roller coasters, and the Pet shenanigans show. As someone who lives near Cedar Point and can navigate the park without an issue - we all found this park very confusing. The wrist bands that you can get to tie your credit/debit card to for the day are also very handy. It seems to me that they know that holidays will a busy time and could have had more workers to help with the lines. Review of Busch Gardens Williamsburg Reviewed 22 July 2013 The park didnt seem very crowded (probably because it was extremely hot outside) but we still opted to spring for the quick queue passes which we think were worth it. It did not matter - everything was a line and I often parked my mom at a table while I waited in line for the food and others were off on rides. You had a choice to make wait in line for food or rides. The directions were not as clear as you would hope. The reviews seemed mixed and could only be used at certain locations. Our thoughts were still out if you should purchase the food plan or not. We were family of 6 and were able to get away with only purchasing 3 cups. If you want to experience all that Busch Gardens has to offer in the way of rides, one of the best ways to do it is by purchasing Quick Queue, which gives. ![]() Highly recommend purchasing the cups to be refilled throughout the day. The best part of the decorations in my opinion was the "snow" that fell on you right as you were leaving the park. I was mildly disappointed in the day for Christmas decorations but that soon changed once night had fallen. We went on December 23 for Christmas town bc of the reviews for the best Christmas attraction in Tampa area during the holidays. Maybe we were expecting too much as we've only been to Disney and Hershey Park over the last 8 years but the parents were a little disappointed overall. Of course due to this, the nearby rides of Montu and Cheetah Hunt were all very long waits so we missed those too, it being 9:30 at this point. Not 30 seconds later the alarm went off again and we were removed AGAIN. "You can get back in line now though", which we did. About an hour later the ride was open again so we asked the ride staff if we could try again and maybe go to the quick queue for the 90 minute inconvenience before. We were all escorted out of line and out the door. Then we waited for 90 minutes for Cobra's Curse to be in a line 15 people from the front when the fire alarm went off. Montu was down when we arrived at Noon so we skipped it. The most frustrating part were technical issues for many rides. Found the park to be fairly nice, but also very dated. Made our first visit to the park last week.
